1080 - KARMA YOGA PROJECT - An Eye On Peace

Thanks to you, last year’s Karma Yoga Project raised $37,000! It was such a success; we have decided to do it again!

Everything in the world is vibration, and what we focus on is what we manifest. Essentially, we are what we think. We are constantly sending out signals into the universe through our vibration, and the universe mirrors back those signals as the circumstances we live in. What we see around us, including on TV and in the paper, sets ourselves into a vibration of that manifestation.

This year we want to send a clear message about what we as the human race want to focus on. What we are going to set our eye on, so to speak.

We are going to keep An Eye On Peace. Will you join us?

We want you to be part of a prayer for peace - 1080 prayers to be exact. In doing so you will be supporting projects both here in Canada and in India.

IN INDIA: Sivananda Math. SM is an organization based out of the Bihar School of Yoga’s Ashram "Rikhia Peeth". It is designed to assist and encourage "growth of the weaker and underdeveloped sections of the society, especially in the rural areas, by following the precepts of seva (service), karuna (compassion), prem (love) and sneha (affection)."

In 2009 SM is finishing construction of the “Kanya’s Kitchen” (Literally meaning “children’s kitchen”) which will feed over 2000 children a day, in particular those who would not get sufficient nourishment at home.

So... for Project1080 - we ask that you put your hands together in a prayer for Peace. Take a photo of it… and send it to us along with your $20CND.

All 1080 photos will be assembled onto a 4.5’ x 4.5’ stretched canvas and will be configured into a "work of art" which will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder in November.

ALL net proceeds of this project will be equally split between The Pura Luna Wellness Retreat Centre and Sivananda Math in India.

TAKE A PHOTO!

Take a photo from your belly to your neck with your palms together at your heart. MAKE SURE YOUR PIC IS AT 300DPI (High Res) and then email it to us at 1080@puraluna.com.

***In the body of the email please tell us how you have paid for your spot on the canvas. 

Ie: “I paid online on june 1st.” or “ I sent a cheque on june 1st”
And please make sure that only one person is in each photo…

HOW MUCH TO "SPONSOR" A PHOTO?

Each photo is $20. (PLEASE NOTE that because of our online transaction fees, if you want to pay online, allow an extra dollar for the transaction fee. Want to support but don’t want your photo in the canvas?

No problem. Just send us your donation… and for every $20CND you send we will allocate a photo from someone who at this time cannot financially afford to take part in this project.
